Important Dates

June 28 – Vote by Mail or in Person June 28^th through August 12 for the primary

July 23 – Register in advance by July 23 to save time on Primary Election Day

August 13 – Primary election*

September – Vote by mail or in person September 20 through November 4^th

October 15- Register in advance by October 15 to save time on Election Day

November 5 – Election Day

*Primary election is to indicate their preference for a candidate in an upcoming General election.

Voting in Minnesota

Who can vote in Minnesota?

You must be:

• A U.S. citizen
• At least 18 years old on Election Day
• A resident of Minnesota for 20 Days
• Finished with all parts of any felony sentence
• You can vote while under guardianship unless a judge specifically had revoked your right to vote.
• You cannot vote if a court has ruled that you are legally incompetent.
