CAIR-Minnesota Condemns Racist COVID-19 Note Left On an Asian-American Couple's Door (MINNEAPOLIS, MN, 3/28/20) – The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Minnesota) today condemns a racist COVID-19 note left on an Asian-American couple's door in Woodbury.

The couple found an anonymous letter taped to their door reading, “We’re watching you [expletives]. take the chinese virus back to china. We don’t want you ... infecting us with your diseases!!!!!!!!!!” The note was signed, “your friendly neighbors.”

CAIR-Minnesota Calls for Hate Crime Probe of Vandalism Targeting Mosque, Muslim Business

(MINNEAPOLIS, MN, 3/5/20) – The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Minnesota) today called on law enforcement authorities to investigate a possible vandalism targeting Masjid Al Nur and a Muslim-owned business in Minneapolis. On Thursday morning, similar hate messages -- including "F**** Allah” -- were found spay-painted at each site.
