The overall goal of CAIR-MN is to ensure that the rights guaranteed to everyone in this nation are enforced. CAIR-MN provides advocacy and free legal services to those who are discriminated against because of their faith, race or ethnicity. We are the only organization in the state of Minnesota that provides this type of service- helping individuals gain their right to wear religious attire and overcome hostile environments in the workplace, empowering students who are victims of bullying and harassment, assisting religious minorities enforce RLUIPA so they can have the right to build places of worship, and addressing issues of racial and religious profiling by law enforcement.

 

In order to meet these goals, CAIR-MN provides the community access to legal services that they are not able to afford through FREE BRIEF ADVICE LEGAL CLINICS. In addition, we empower these individuals by educating them on their legal rights and what the law says.
